In honour of Piers Lane’s birthday, here he is recording the ‘Stranded’ piano in London. Not only was he reading our sheet music, but he was reading Chopin’s ‘Prelude in b minor opus 28 number 6’ at the same time. He blended the two pieces together and threw in some of his own flavour. This is why he is one of the the world’s best. It was a pleasure and privilege to work with Piers.
